Wiener Platz 4, Munich
Great fine wines, in a cozy atmosphere, here you can experience a large piece of Munich freedom with good food. I'm already looking forward to the next time.
Incredibly unfriendly service that literally brought tears to my eyes. Never again.
And also in dark corona days, with this wonderful chestnut soup to-go and your always enchanting way. For us, this place is magically wonderful, thank you and your team for the great moments today ? AT
The Weinhäusl is not just a place where you can pick up your wine or food now in the Corona times ... Because even before that, this is a place where cuisine and hospitality meet. And this has not changed even during Corona times. All employees are passionate about their work and greet every guest - even in the cold of winter to - go business - with a smile and unique hospitality. The Weinhäusl is a place where you can just leave everyday life behind and enjoy yourself. My favorite place in Munich.
It's difficult for the catering industry at the moment. I think everyone should take that into account. At the moment, wine tasting is simply not allowed. Some forget that. Every time I order the delicious take away (unfortunately only possible at the moment) and wait, I notice the misunderstanding of the guests and wonder whether they don't find out about the current situation. Restaurateurs who do not adhere to them face high fines. In any case, I think the Weinhäusl lives in the area, where I celebrated my birthday last year and now had many culinary delicious take aways and earlier evenings were just great. And please let the restaurateurs do their job too. I think it's a small place, so even as a regular customer you can't occupy a table for 3 hours. it is important that you also put yourself in each other's shoes. I can understand gastronomy. How else can you implement this sustainably profitably when quality is delivered. anyone who thinks about it and thinks about it can understand the situation and stop bashing. I love Weinhäusl and the management Dani!
We have tried every now and then because the location is so beautiful and the Weinhäusl too, but at some point it will be enough. Rudeness actually seems to be part of the concept. Every time we had the feeling to have to apologize for our wine order. We'll just let it be in the future
Outstanding location, good food, but incredibly unfriendly staff! Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in popular Munich restaurants. The staff is more arrogant than the guests.
Well ... the service can be described as unpleasant and unfriendly. You hardly have the feeling of being really welcome. The focus is almost exclusively on apparent regular guests. Overall not recommended. Laden lives from its good location.
In itself you sit very nicely, but the service is really very unfriendly. Young people in particular are treated from above here, although we were very friendly and ordered several bottles of wine. Really a shame because it is actually a nice place where you can comfortably drink a few glasses of wine!
Absolutely personable and attentive service, great cuisine, the beetroot soup with fresh horseradish is awesome, then tagliatelle with fresh bison beef, mega hung and tenderly a poem. The Muscat from Kilger A fantastic and entertaining evening. In addition, great care was taken with hygiene. Highly recommended. But the place is small and has its peak hours, which is why some guests have been canceled. So if you want to be sure you should make a reservation. Thank you for a great evening in a relaxed atmosphere
Lovely atmosphere, great service and friendly staff
So far I've always enjoyed going to the Weinhäusl - the location is sweet, the food is delicious and the wine tastes great too. The wait staff can have a bad day, but I've overlooked that so far. Yesterday, however, it was enough for me: we had reserved a table for 4 people at 7:30 p.m. When we arrived we were actually told that we could choose a table outside. In October at 10 degrees and without a patio heater or other "roofing". The reason: when we made the reservation, we wouldn't have said that we'd like to sit inside. Who assumes by default that you want to sit outside at 10 degrees? And by the way: when I wanted to reserve a table outside in June, they said that no reservations would be accepted for outside. Sorry Weinhäusl - not like that anymore.
Certainly the best place on Wiener Platz to have a glass of wine in the evening. Super cute little house, really adorable. I can't say anything about the food, we just always drink there. The wine is average good, certainly not below average in price. Regarding the service (maybe also the boss herself ...?) You can say that extreme casualness can often be confused with extreme arrogance. I mistook it for it, and unfortunately not just once. Today I was really (again) disappointed with it and am therefore writing this recession.
Extremely rude service.
Service super unfriendly and snappy, even for just a wine on hand. Great location and good atmosphere on the square in front of it, but better buy the wine somewhere else or bring your own.
? A great visit to the Weinhäusl ? I have been really lucky when you read the many bad reviews here. I was there on 07/15/2020 and ate and drank well. ? I had a delicious Aperol spritz and an octopus salad. ? Was served quickly by a polite waiter. --- I come to Wiener and Max-Weber-Platz very often. I love to go on a business trip, to eat coffee and cake in the Schmidt bakery or in the Hofbräukeller. Then there is an espresso in the café on Max-Weber-Platz. So also on this day. ?☕ A well-rounded, successful day and I really like to think back to the super, delicious octopus salad. Maybe I'll be back soon. Hello meanwhile! ??♀️?
service was awful at the start but we kept being super nice and eventually the waiter was nice back. gets 5 stars because its the best aperol spritz ive ever had and ive had enough to be a good judge. fresh orange juice in it. amazing
Really bad service - over half an hour ignored / not served. And after 45 minutes, shortly before 9 am, the kitchen is already closed. It's a shame about the great location and the beautiful ambience.
Tables seemingly reserved but just for show, and the owner is one of the rudest people I have met. Suffice it to say I will not be going there again, but there is a great place across the square from there.
We wanted to ask for a free table. Unfortunately we were completely ignored and not even greeted. I absolutely understand if nothing is free or the service is stressed. But I would expect a short "Hello" after waiting 10 minutes. Pity! We left again.
Outrageous waiter! In fact, we wanted to enjoy a small aperitif in the sun, briefly as discussed with waiters, I've never been treated so cheeky and arrogant! I am a restaurateur myself, that's how you treat no guests! Service is not given here! Never come back!
There are friendlier places in Haidhausen.
Great place for a little snack but prefer the take away option. I've been here multiple times now and surprisingly the quality of the service varies widely: some is very experienced and relaxed - some very rush rushed and impolite which ruins the experience. Maybe have a quick look and see who is around and make your decision. Wine selection is good (big fan of their rosé which is easily drinkable during g hit summer days)
Wanted to reserve a table in person today. Operation runs past several times, but - despite addressing - cleverly turns his back. Another waitress serves food without a mouth guard. I left after 7 minutes without a reservation. Have so much to do that they don't need any more guests.
Nice, fine, small ... everything was great. Enjoy your meal, Good wines. Price performance perfectly fine.
Cute restaurant, however, very unprofessional and rushed service. Our order was taken while the waiter was removing the plates from the table next to us. The wine that was recommended was very unspectacular and could have been anything for 4€ from Rewe. The food was good but the table was tiny which made eating rather uncomfortable. Lastly, the restaurant does not care about the Corona laws at all. Except for one waiter, nobody from the staff, not in the kitchen, nor in service was wearing a mask. The tables seemed rather close next to each other and the one waiter who was wearing a mask took it off everytime he spoke to us. Also no contact details were taken from guests.
Horrible experience. We were looking for a place to eat and kindly asked the host whether the terrace was still open for dining. Instead of politely pointing out that they weren’t allowed to keep the outdoor spaces open after 8pm according to corona guidelines, the host came 50 cm close to me without a mask and yelled in my face if I were kidding and if I didn’t hear what God had said ? Clearly as a restaurant owner/ manager she was frustrated by this new law however this is not the way to speak to potential customers interested in dining at your restaurant. Despite the restaurant looking super cute, I will not go there again and would not recommend it to anyone. There are enough great places with friendly staff out there!
Small but very fine locality. A place for connoisseurs. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Excellent wines, great advice on their selection, lovely Interieur and the staff charming! Thank youuuu / Merci / Danke! Ps: also great coffee!
Stumbled across this place looking for a brunch in the area. Eggs Benedict was amazing the service couldn't have been better!
This was a perfect spot to start my day in Munich on a layover. Service was top-notch and the food was superb!

Mega!
Great wine and food
Nice and cozy
This is my new favourite - fully refurbished small house on Wiener Platz. The wine house who bought proposes mostly sparkling, red and white wines. I'm not even sure they propose beers ;) you can have a bite for lunch and dinner. The terrasse is the big plus!
Great cosy wine bar with an outdoor sun terrace. Food, wine and service are refreshingly excellent. All produce comes from the owners vineyard / farm in Austria. Highly recommend.
Best sunny terrace with great wine choice! They serve food
